Digital Management Awarded 10-year Seaport-e Contract with the U.S. Navy
Bethesda, MD—December 21, 2008—Digital Management, Inc. (www.digitalmanagement.com), announced today that it has been awarded a seat on the U.S. Navy's encompassing Seaport-Enhanced (Seaport-e) multiple-award contract, worth as much as $50B over the next ten years. Seaport-e affords the Navy easy access to procuring Digital Management services, with an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract to meet requirements solicited by the Naval Sea Systems Command, the Naval Air Systems Command, the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, the Naval Supply Systems Command, the Military Sealift Command, the Naval Facilities Engineering Command, the Strategic Systems Programs, the Office of Naval Research, the Defense Threat Reduction Agency and the United States Marin e Corps.
Digital Management's contract with the Navy enables procurement of a wide range of services in which the company has proven expertise and experience, including the following Navy mission areas:
- Engineering System Engineering and Process Engineering Support
- Modeling, Simulation, Stimulation, and Analysis Support
- System Design Documentation and Technical Data Support
- Software Engineering, Development, Programming, and Network Support
- Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability (RM&A) Support
- Human Factors, Performance, and Usability Engineering Support
- Configuration Management (CM) Support
- Information System (IS) Development, Information Assurance (IA), and Information Technology (IT) Support
- Program Support
- Functional and Administrative Support
With a presence already within NAVAIR at the Patuxent River Naval Air Station, Digital Management is well-positioned to broaden its Navy support under Seaport-e. The Government estimates a maximum of $5.3B of services will be procured per year via orders issued under the SeaPort-e contracts. The contract has a three month base period with one five-year option and one four-year nine month award term option, for a total of ten years.
